Also haven't tried this myself either. But, how about equalizing the hight of components placed. Like if you have windows and their everywhere, just enter a hight or chose a component that you want to be adjacent to the others?

Awesome ! I can't wait to download this to my iPod Touch. I've been wanting to do some ruby scripts, seeing their the only frontier ventured, but not devveloped by me. I've done iPhone apps, beta testing for Facebook and Yahoo, 3DS games, etc... But this seems like a promissing frontier. Oh yeah, did I mentoin I'm only 13

RE: [Plugin] Superglue
You basicaly rotate the glue, and every component stuck together with the glue. Like making a group of those components, and then rotating the group.

RE: Skp. to Physical Model?
How do I go about printing tthose faces after slicing them
-
RE: [Plugin] Superglue
I can't illustrate this, but I can try to explain it.
You can rotate (using SU's native rotating tool) components on a specific glue line. Basically so that components are angled at something other than 90, 180, 270, 360 degrees. -
RE: Are materials the same as textures?
No, make it one big component.

watch some videos on YouTube for some SketchUp "StartUp" tips
I've been using SU for a year and found out many new things watching the video -
RE: [Plugin] Superglue
A rotatable line of glue, where you can glue things and ajust their position on a fixed base.

RE: Skp. to Physical Model?
Where do you go in SU to print seperate faces? I think I'll be able to use this idea in school projects in the future.

Skp. to Physical Model?
I was thinking how cool it would be if I could make a physical, scale model of a SU model. Is there a plugin out there to print faces at a scale? If this is possible?

RE: [Plugin] FredoTools::CurviShear 1.5a - 25 Aug 11 (ramps)
This is great! How ironic I find this on the site when X Games rolls in. I think this would be great if it somehow incorperated banking. I'll be saving time by the hours with this on road courses

RE: Are materials the same as textures?
No, or at least not until the end. I would make the exactly same objects components, like all four wheels. If you do all the work to one wheel, and make it a component, you can open up the components box under "Window(s)" and install more (in this case 3) of a component. I haven't encountered a problem like yours. But, I suspect making things that are going to be the same color/ texture/ material (their the same thing) under one component would work. Then make it one big component and right click- explode it. If you plan on uploading the model, make it a big, exploadable component. Any thing else you need help on?

RE: WEBSITE...?
from what I can tell after the redirect to the Google owned site is either Sketchyphysics.com is just a one page lease from GoDaddy, under re-construction or in co-op with Google

RE: Are materials the same as textures?
Did you turn the tank into one complete component?

RE: Extrude Request
Hi Jean,
Thanks for the model, but I'm afraid I've gotten to far in the model to go back and change the seating. I've gotten the seating done by just offsetting the bottom of the racing surface to the back of the building's rim. Plus, I have a road leading in and out of the track area so that cars and other vehicles can enter. I will gladly put you under the contributers for the track when I upload it to the warehouse. -
RE: Extrude Request
It's nice to know even MY technical hickups can blunder even you.
I went through the toolbars and didn't find Toy Selection anywhere. -
RE: Extrude Request
I tried taking a screen shot using the default Windows way, but when I go to take it into paint to save it, I get "YOU'VE BEEN HIT WITH THE". So I'm scanning it with McCaffe. But anyway, my plugins folder has the folders thomthom specified.
