this is a model of my friends cottage in Devon - to show new decking in place.
I had a lot of trouble with the curved windows in roof.

I'm trying to model a spanish villa which has curved inset windows, as in
attached, can anyone tell me how to achieve this?

i love Sketchup but only use it for 'mucking about' with 3d, can someone tell me which are the best plug-ins for general use? - there are so many now & it all seems to be getting quite technical (i'm a bit thick)
Also i've found that Bryce 3d seems to be good for rendering now i've discovered how to import from SU
& (i'm rambling now) Amorphium is great for creating meshes, i enc an early effort (it won't let me load jpg??)

i am creating a house model - it was starting to get slow, so i downgraded the images i was projecting
which didn't make a lot of difference, so i tried experimenting by gradually taking parts away then saving,
but the file is same size (its not a large model) 11.5mg i use a mac
