RE: Favourite Films
No idea Pav, there are some good movies listed.
My favorites are
"The Good, the bad & the ugly"
"Snatch"
"Pulp Fiction"
"Blade Runner"
"Tombstone"Like Star Wars I can put these in and watch them over and over again and never get tired.
There are better movies out there but these are the ones I enjoy watching the most. -
RE: More Ratty Styles
Sounds like a lot of keyframing if done in sketchup.
Would be an easy add in iMovie or finalcut. -
RE: Help...email won't delete!
Good advice Daniel, and you might even double check by using bitdefender.com 's online free scanner.

Olo does this vid make sense?
Basically you import an image file position it above the plane and explode it.
Then sample the image and paint bucket on the surface. -
RE: WIP
still looks nice. i like the way the building is emphasized and then blends into the surroundings. very nicely done.

RE: Using 'instancing/proxies' is fun
I saw this artwork and it reminded me of the stuff you've been doing with Indigo, kwisten.

RE: SubSmooth Raptor
excellent model and discovery.
thank you for sharing, can't wait to see more. -
RE: Kerkythea Render - Coffee Shop
This is very good. Makes me feel really stupid for shelling out the dough for Maxwell...

RE: Memory Stick

RE: Memory Stick
Remus,
That looks awesome, how did you do the studio lighting in Indigo?
I've been trying it out with little success. -
RE: SpongeBob - first try
Thank you all for the comments, I'm going to try out Snoopy like Solo suggested.
I'll do a progression posting like this one for it as well.
I need to figure out how to "rig" him... I've watched Monsterzero's video on that and it seems to be a bit over my head. I'll have another look at it though. -
RE: SpongeBob - first try
Thank you Solo, I'll give that a shot.
I've got a 5 year old and a 4 year old and they would rather me model this stuff than architecture.I would've never even tried this without your thread and Whaat's plugin.
If anybody needs the skippy let me know.
My son already uses sketchup but his models are mostly boxes and like 50 helicopters... but he's just 5. Now it'll be boxes, 50 helicopters and a Spongebob. -
RE: SpongeBob - first try
Final Sketchup output. I still need to revisit his mouth and cheeks they still need work.
Thank you Solo for the inspiration. Been in a creative funk for a few weeks hopefully this will get me out of it.
