I have now installed Sketchup 2014. I must say that it is a difficult and time-consuming business to find all the beloved plugins again. Many are not yet available for 2014. That means you have to look always in the Extension warehouse or in the Plugin store if there is a matching plugin available.Some will perhaps not at all updated. I think It will certainly take months until the most Plugins are up to date. Until then I will continue to maintain my beloved Sketchup 8. Until now I can still see no advantage over Sketchup 8. Maybe I will recognize the benefits later.

I am still very skeptical about the future development. Will plugins (Ruby 2.0), developed for Sketchup 2014 still be backward compatible in the future?

Will we then have two SketchUp groups here in the Forum?

Spoke too soon! in some models, the error message appears again. I've googled already hundreds of pages. It seems that hundreds of thousands of users have the same problem . By searching the Nvidia Forum I found nothing. With Nvidia, the problem seems to be unknown. It can not be that no one can solve this problem!

Ich arbeite nur zum Spass mit Sketchup 8 Pro. Ich habe auch Sketchup 2013 Make installiert. Einen Grund für einen kompletten Umstieg sehe ich im Moment noch nicht.
Alles läuft ohne Probleme. Ein wichtiger Grund der mich zum Umstieg bewegen würde wäre z.B. die Möglichkeit das Plugins Menü individuell organisieren und kategoriesieren zu können. Auch eine GPU und CPU Nutzung würde mich zum Umstieg bewegen.

Previously I always had full access as an administrator. The Content from the virtual store, I moved to the plugins folder. The message still appears.

I have tried again with TT_Lib2-2.9.2.rbz but the result is the same.

I have now switched back to TT_Lib2-2.8.3.rbz. No Problems.
