Vray Render color Change
Good Morning everyone.
At first i was rendering my vray interior scene with only rectangular lights which is only warm colour with normal brightness, the outcome was good where i override every material with white colour. But when i disable override all material. my new render ambiance environment colour became redish. Though it is not finished render, but the red dots all around the map make me nervous because the render will definately take up 3 or 4 hours because it's with great details.
Any suggestion what happened?Ops! the 2nd try, rendering was running fine.
PS : I don't have much redish reflective materials that would probably change the whole thing to red. But since the 2nd rendering is fine. I still hope for experts to share their experience when come across this problem once a while. Thanks -
RE: My IES light is not work

RE: Hotel reception
I think it's a bit too raw for conceptual design. For me when i do conceptual design i usually overlay all material with gray colour so my client can see the overall design of my reception counter and lightings. if they are ok with the arrangement of spaces and position of lights. then i will propose materials for example type or carpet and colour of walls and furnishes. jz a piece of opinion. =D

Not a really professional renderer but i am just starting to learn Vray and also the plugins with sketchup.
I hope for comments and crits from the masters so i can improve =D
background is photohoped with a night scene pic instead of using HDRI because i am still not really sure how to use it

RE: Problem Vray displacement
Good morning i m using Vray latest version and Sketchup 8 pro
I would like to ask that i am doing the same sea like yours and to my understanding the sea water have to be a bit transparent but since the layer below my sea square are totally empty. It looked ridiculous when light penetrates the layer of sea displacement. So how do you guys set it to be like the image above. I have the displacement Mapping but i am just curious about the reflection and colour and transparent setting. -
RE: Indigo Exteriors
i am just recently playing with making fur plugin and had been doing a lot of research recently to make it denser. i am glad i found ur pic and your scene rendered is amazing and it's the effect that i am looking for. But i am quite blur with ur description. Do you have some pictorial tutorial instead?

RE: Another Grass Tutorial
The grass are somehow too scattered but if i put more density and increase the amount per meter till the grass are dense enough to look a bit realistic ( not too bold to be view on the land) i get super slow rendering.

RE: [BASICS] Default render overexposed
you maybe can try to take a look at camera settings that control the exposure..
The GI light intensity as well also effect the brightness of the scene. -
RE: Problem Vray displacement

If you convert the light group to a component, it will prevent the scene from rendering. We see that happen a lot, people want to have instances of the same light so they just convert the group, thinking everything will be fine. In order to have that functionality though, you need to place the light group inside of a component, rather than converting the group to a component.
wow. i did that mistake no wonder it wont render. making component perhaps alter the data of the light..thx man for waking me up

RE: V-ray rendering problem
I ma having the same problem. i found out mine it's with the retengular lighting that i have with is small square and arrayed 12 x 15 lights for the whole building. after i delete the light it starts to render.but if i am with the light it dont render..what's the problem..is it grouping layering for retengular lights are making bugs for vray?
