RE: [Plugin] Extrude Edges by Rails
Hi TIG, thanks for your help. There's a problem with the fillet created this way, though: it doesn't revolve correctly around the "arm". See picture, taken from your kind example: on one side the arc points inward, on the other side points outward.

RE: [Plugin] Extrude Edges by Rails
Hi TIG and all, today I spent some quality time trying to achieve the result of this procedure with Extrude Edges by Rails plugin: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SUYN_Uqzvec.
Any idea if and how is possible to produce this kind of result?
Thanks in advance for the plugin and any help. -
RE: Wipeout Le Mans 2094
Stunning work!
Any insight on making the main ship model would be much appreciated. It's quite a strange shape, isn't it? -
RE: Model this: Accelerate sofa

RE: Edge bevel question
Yes it's a tricky edge to deal with.
To date Pilou's solution is the most clean and customizable. -
RE: Edge bevel question
Thanks for your help, guys!
I like TIG solution best, but man! That's a crazy workflow to bevel an edge!
OK, we'll survive, gonna play around that... -
RE: Edge bevel question
Well, I'm for a simple bevel, like the one at the top of the nested shape.
By the way after some tests I believe is not possible to achieve it in SketchUp.
It looks like the problem is the base of the cylinder is curved in two ways: as a circle and as laying over the underlying curved surface. -
Edge bevel question
I'm trying to bevel an inner edge of two intersected objects; I tried using FollowMe and Bezier RoundEdge but can't get it.
Any suggestion?
