I do believe this should be in the Gallery. Although I can't help you with 3DS I must say this is a beautiful model! Keep us posted...

RE: Share your Digital Photography shots here
I just finished my Photo 101 class and learned a lot of different techniques and camera settings. I hope to put this knowledge to good use in the near future...

RE: 2009 Timpte Grain Trailer
To make things easier for everyone, I would make just one thread showing your work and just add your new stuff to that thread as you finish. It would help keep things clean and you won't have threads everywhere. Just a suggestion...
You're work is awesome, are you sharing them on the warehouse?

RE: Image export and memory question.
So if I want a 30x42 print made, I need to turn AA off and try to export at somewhere around 8000 pixels wide and then shrink it down in Photoshop to something like 4000 pixels wide to get those smooth sharp lines from Sketchup? I'll give it a shot and see if it works on a fairly large model...

RE: Image export and memory question.
It hasn't gotten any better for me. It won't let me export anything larger than 4000 pixels wide, anything higher than that gives me an error message. This gets really annoying when you are trying to do a large print as I'm not really able to get the crisp lines that I would like. Is there some kinda ruby out there that will let me export bigger or maybe have a higher dpi output? I'm using Sketchup Pro 7 and I've got 2gigs of ram.

RE: Phase 2...
Haha, all right Daniel. Well wouldn't they detract from the building entrance in real life? Plus, the client would probably notice me moving them knowing my luck but I do understand where you're coming from...
Thanks SixtiiSvn!

perhaps a furniture maker and offer to model there products in Skp/Dwg/3DS so that they can be downloaded from their website?
I live in High Point, NC where one of the largest furniture markets in the world takes place. Maybe I need to look more into modeling furniture for these companies. I've never really thought about it... one of those D'oh moments...

Pikey is a pejorative slang term used, mainly in England, to refer to...people of low social class.
Obviously some of you haven't seen the movie Snatch!?!

RE: Projected Texture Issue
I just use the eye-dropper from the materials window to sample a segment of the texture. Make sure you have your hidden lines turned on. There probably is an easier way to do it. Is this what you're trying to achieve?
