He was great in Kill Bill! I'm not old enough to know the Kung Fu series or Shane but he was a very talented actor and he will be missed! I certainly hope it wasn't suicide but I hope he rests in peace.

RE: Unbelievable technology
This is kinda cool. If you haven't been keeping up with the E3, they're using the 'Project Natal' camera for the Xbox360 to track her movements. This is Microsoft's answer to the Wii. Sony also just announced their own version that looks like the WiiMote with a glowing orb on the end of it and it uses a camera to track the movements of the wand.
Like Troyhome said, I can certainly see it being used for military and the porn industry (although that would be kinda disturbing).
Think of waking up in the morning and interacting with this little dude... getting the weather, traffic, and news. There are soo many possibilities with this kind of technology. A kid is having trouble in school, he has his own personal tutor, etc. It's gonna be exciting to see what they come up with.

RE: Real or render?

RE: When you're bored...
I'll admit it. I'm on all the time talking to friends who are still in college or live in other cities. It's a great way to keep in touch. Look me up if you're on there, David Love in Greensboro, NC.

And of course, no matter how curious you are, David, we won't confess everything here.
I've seen them all anyways... -
When you're bored...
What websites do you guys like to look at, watch, or read when you're bored? I'm just interested to see what websites everyone likes to go to around the country or even the world (if it's in english). I find myself reading the same things everyday...

You should come to the southern U.S. then, where rules of grammer and vocabulary seem to be optional.

It's Krzyzewski, get it right David_H! Are you a Tar-heel fan or something?

tracing over all those lines and then pulling them upwards is tedious
Why do you need to trace? All you have to do after you bring it in is use the 'MakeFaces' ruby. It doesn't work all the time but it does fill in most faces so you don't have to trace that much to get the faces...
It also depends on who did the drafting. I sometimes find that some people don't close there corners or intersections which can be very annoying but you have to make sure everything is good in AutoCAD before importing into Sketchup. IMO, that can be the most tedious part...

RE: Church interior...
Thanks everyone! Fletch, I'm going to try to do what you and Frederik suggested as soon as I can. You guys are life savers when it comes to learning the ins and outs of Kerky. I do have a question I hope one of you can answer... will there be an easier way of making IES lights in the next version of Kerky?
I rendered this image at 4000x2173 pixels, so I'm sure that also had something to do with the 10 hour rendering time...
Chris, this is a church here in NC. We do a lot of work for a church renovation company so every now and again I get to do some models for them. I really enjoy doing this type of work, especially when I get to see the clients reactions...

RE: Church interior...
Thank you Modelhead! It would've taken a lot longer to model this without Profile Builder. Worth every penny, IMO!
