      Most living things consume biological material to survive. That's what I'm getting at. Even at a small scale, food doesn't come from nowheres. It usually comes from something else that was alive at some point, whether it be a large animal, a piece of seaweed, or even algae. Now, if you had quoted the bottom of my post, you'd know I wasn't trying to justify cruelty, I'm against the treatment of these cats, and the first part wasn't necessarily about them, but about eating meat (as the discussion had swayed a bit off topic).

      Animals eat other animals. We should be allowed to eat other animals too. And when animals kill other animals, sometimes it's quick, other times it can be extremely brutal. I think killing animals painlessly is fair enough; after all, for things to live, usually something else has to die.

      Once again, on the topic itself, I don't think the things shown on that page are acceptable at all, and there should be more regulations put in place for the treatment of these cats while they're alive, and being killed; but as for eating meat, I don't have many sympathies.

      Hmm... Who knows, maybe they consider cats like I do chickens? The way we see them, is as an animal that people keep in their houses to keep them company (well, I do). A change in perspective makes all the difference. Imagine they were chickens instead of cats... would you have the same reaction? Probably still negative, but maybe not as much. (not saying animal cruelty is good; I think it's horrid. Just that cats aren't the only ones.)

      Yeah. That would be why. I don't think you can do that with V.2, so if I were you, I'd get 3. Don't worry; your model will probably work in it too.

      You enter the instruction in the joint's UI; click the joint, click the UI button, a menu will pop up, set it in the controller box:

      You can replace the word motor for whatever you want though.

      As for your second question; probably. you can enter things like:

      (rightx-0.5)+(0.5-righty)
      

      which allow 2 controllers to control a single object, and the -0.5 allows reverse for things like motors. An example of a model using this, to have servo-less steering

      I'm a user, and I don't care. A couple blue boxes with words never hurt anybody, neither has an ad for render plus. As long as it's not huge and moving. I hate moving ads.

      a more futuristic take on it...
      I will probably change the legs so it walks, replace the hydraulics with joints, add upper leg, and and take out the wheels. also, add some details to the shell.
      Haven't bothered to render current progress, just trying to see what setting it appears best in.

      Any advice, opinions or ideas would be appreciated. Especially if you have ideas for joints. πŸ˜„

      that would be easy. group it, convexhull, play, it lands flat, pause, save a copy as., and you're done. works for action poses too, if you have something in the middle of breaking down a wall or something.

      If I understand you correctly, that's already possible; but you have to manually make the convex meshes, and group them together.
