RE: Folding Chair
Hey cool. Ha, the first thing I thought when I saw the chair was, who can I hit over the head with it? After reading Gaieus' "Joke" in the Corner Bar about the SketchUp Fit Club I wanted to use the chair on him Just joking Gai.
Sorry, I got off on a tangent. Nice chairs

RE: GEB
My first thought was to scale it down and place it on an office desk. Or it could be an "Egg". It shows up in almost everything, just very hidden.
I'll go ahead and move it. A shadow will be here for a few days.

RE: GEB
Here is an image. Maybe this needs to be moved to the MCS forum.

Multiple Attachments in Posts.
Many of you have asked in either a PM or in a topic how to add more than one attachment in a single post. Here is how:
Step 1:
When posting a topic or reply there is a section just below the text window called "Upload Attachment". Click the "Browse" button, find your file on your computer and click open. Your file name and path should show up in the window just next to the Browse button. Now before you submit your post/reply click "Add the file" in the Upload Attchment section. The fourm will upload the file but not submit the post yet. You can now add a file comment next to your attachment.
Step 2:
Repeat step 1 remembering not to submit your post until you have all your files uploaded and comments added.Step 3:
Repeat step 1 again. Now preview your post, then when happy, submit your post.
I don't know how many attachments the forum will allow. I tried up to 7 images and stopped. Coen?
The image below are screen shots of the process. Now if you want your image to show up in the middle of a post and keep on typing beneath the image you can use the "Place inline" feature directly beneath the text window while posting. Simply use the dropdown to find one of the 3 you just uploaded, click in the body of the text where you want the image to show up and click "Place inline".
Web images:
If an image is on the web somewhere you can add it without uploading an attachment. Just find the image you want, get the web address and copy/paste it into the text. Then highlight it and click the "Img" button just above the text window. If there are any further questions as to how this is done, just reply

RE: Loveseat
Well if you did not know, just hold down ctl while erasing instead of shift. That is if you are on a PC. If you did know, then I hope someone who did not just learned something.

RE: Loveseat
Nice cadmastr, really nice. I like the texture quite a bit.
Can I ask why you chose to just hide the lines on the curves and not Soften/Smooth?

RE: Trifoil
I would not dream of splitting it. Yours is a trifoil as well so it is good to keep them together.

Trifoil

Just in time for Thanksgiving.
A story my wife just sent me...
PREGNANT TURKEY STORY
One year, at Christmas time, my mom went to my sister's house for the
traditional holiday feast. Knowing how gullible my sister is, my mom
decided to play a trick. She told my sister that she needed something
from the store and asked if my sister wouldn't mind going out to get it.When my sister left the house, my mom took the turkey out of the oven,
removed the mixed stuffing, stuffed a Cornish hen, and inserted it into
the turkey...then re-stuffed the turkey She then placed the bird(s) back
into the oven. When it was time for dinner, my sister pulled the turkey out of the oven
and proceeded to remove the stuffing. When her serving spoon hit
something, she reached in and pulled out the little bird. With a look of total shock on her face, my mother exclaimed, "Barbara,
you've cooked a pregnant bird!"At the reality of this horrifying news, my sister started to cry
hysterically. It took the entire family almost two hours to convince her that turkeys
lay eggs!Yes, my sister is a BLONDE!

RE: [Tutorial > Modeling] Basic Roof
Sorry Goggin. Looking back it should have read select all then intersect with model. I imagine you were only selecting one face. After you have done this all the "over runs" on the roof plane should intersect with each other then you can delete out what you don't want.
I hope this helps.
