It leaves the same defects even if we enlarge it 100Xs.

Ideally what we want to do is to only round the curved edge (with the blue highlight). The problem comes with where it joins the straight edge (arrow)

The resulting ledge is formed. If we can get only the curved edge rounded, that would be our preferred result. Any help would be appreciated.

I've created a model that needed to have two adjacent perpendicular edges rounded. Once I completed this with Round Corners, I was left with a hole in the surface. Can someone please tell me the easiest way to repair this?

I recently upgraded my graphics card to an ASUS NVIDIA GTX650 in order to help speed up and smooth out modeling and rendering in both Sketchup and Renditioner Pro. A tool for tweaking the card settings came along with the card (with no documentation) and though I realize it's probably for gaming, which I don't do, I'm wondering if anyone would know what settings I should be using to optimize modeling in Sketchup and rendering in Renditioner Pro. Below is an image of the tool and settings avaialble.

Using Sketchup 8 in a PC There is an image file in a TV screen component that I want to change in a Sketchup project. I found the name of the image (samsung.jpg) using the material editor. I did a search and cannot find this image anywhere. Can someone please tell me where to locate it

I have an object (model) which is a group of many materials in a scene. Everything is within the group and the grouping becomes highlighted upon selection. I am trying to rotate this grouping within the scene but I can't get any rotational arrows to appear?

I think that might be it. I'm going to change permissions to everything as I've had some permission errors show up when dealing with other folders.

Unfortunately I can't upload it. But what's happening is that it is getting saved as a "compatibility file". I was able to find it by looking at compatibility files. I'm not exactly sure what that is (windows 7) but some of the others I've saved are there too.

I wanted to make a change to one of my components in the component folder within the sketchup program folder. This component shows up when I open the components window and can be placed into a model.

I selected the component file from the component folder and it opened in Sketchup. I made modifications to the component and saved it as the same file. Yet when I either try and place it into a model from the components window or just try and open the file separately from the folder, the changes are not saved. I've repeated this multiple times and still no luck.
Any idea what I should be doing differently? thanks

On a separate question: I noticed in the instruction video in the beginning of this post that when Create Image is first opened, points become visible on the rectangular blocks from which the animation path is drawn. What are these points and how do I place them on the group/component?

I just purchased it and it is very easy to use to create an animated rotation. Thank you. I can see where you can easily create an animated gif but I'm a little confused about creating an animated movie either by exporting as an avi (which I'm having problems with anyway) or exporting the rotation animation as part of a more involved animation which is being exported as still frames, to be converted after . This is the way I've been creating animations using "Proper Animation" Can someone clarify how to do this for me please. Thanks
