Thank you very much, Al. This is a great tool!! I am continually flabbergasted by all the after-market superchargers.

Urgen, I'm not sure which to thank you for more; the link to Girabaldi painting (simply AMAZING) or the materials you've created. WOW, it's Christmas already.

OFF OFF OFF. I find them distracting. I already know which way is up, although some here may disagree with that!

Ah I bet the stock has split several times since 46, not a fair comparison

Ahha Susan, I failed to consider this so I did a little research. According to Yahoo, GM did a 2:1 split in March of 1989. If this is accurate, then today's stock price is only twice what it was in 1946.

Words really aren't sufficient in expressing the gratitude and honor I have for my Dad and all the other brave men and women of the "Greatest Generation" who fought for freedom and liberty. All too soon they will be gone.

    • RE: Select at Start-Rick

Thanks, Rick. Both startup.rb and smustard-app-observer.rb are in my SU6 Plugins folder. I'll reinstall again. Obviously, I never had it with SU5. Sorry you had to research my silly non-problem; I'm slightly embarrassed.

Slightly OT, but look at General Motors stock price...it's the same price today that it was in 1946!!!

I haven't noticed any bumping abuse so I say it's OK. I have bumped only once and it wasn't my thread.

On a slight side note, it seems pretty clear where the youth of america stand.

This is not surprising given the idealism, untempered by reality, youth possesses. Couple this with the liberal pablum force fed to them during college and you'll get this result every time.

    • Select at Start-Rick

Rick, I think I inadvertently deleted my select at start ruby from my SU5 Plugins folder. The script on Smustard is for SU 6 because it has the app observer. Where can i find this script for SU 5? I've searched but didn't find anything. TIA.
EDIT: In fact, select at startup doesn't work with SU6 either. I wonder if I have a conflicting script.

Interesting you noted "arrogance" (another word for "audacity")...

      Why's that?

"Audacity of Hope" or "Arrogance of Hope". Take your pick.

Not really. Didn't you read the papers?

Not sure I understand what you mean.

Lets just say the part of US that inspires the World isn't the part that voted for G.W.Bush. It is the part that voted for Obama.

I suffered in silence through 8 years of Clinton (allowing Loral to transfer multiple warhead missile technology to the Chinese, the firing of ALL 50 US Attorneys, the pardoning of criminals like Mark Rich, on and on). I didn't cry and whine and threaten to move out of the country, nor did I gloat about Bush (both times) to my liberal friends.

Obama doesn't need to build a coaltion, he's got 54, or so, democrats in the Senate and significant majority in the House. He's a leftie's leftie. Hell, he is even more left than Bernie Sanders, the admitted socialist from Vermont. There is absolutely no reason to expect he'll govern any differently.
