I've seen the settings many times but never 'touched' it -

Hi Helmi,

the center must be where it was before scaling
The center of the object stays as it was before scaling (Use the Ctrl+Shift combination) but of course the height is scaling too.
The other option is to select and scale the top and bottom circle of the cylinder separately - it works too.

Use the Ctrl+Shift combination to scale it about the center uniformly on the side grip. Now you can enter exact values adding the unit, too.Don't deselect the object after Step 3... type the required size (4.8mm) and Enter
It would scale down to the required size@unknownuser said:

You will need to PushPull the thing back to original length at the end though.

RE: How to make an action button
Hi taylorjl
There is a 'Play Animation' action (right click on Scene Tab) with button Play, Pause or Stop.
It would jump from Scene to Scene. You can even skip some Scenes from your animation sequence (right click on Scene Tab > Scene Manager > Include in Animation).
Under Model Info > Animation > Transition you can adjust Scene Transition and Scene Delay.
Set Scene Transition to 5
Set Scene Delay to 0You will get 'smooth' animation.
PS. You could install SketchUp Viewer for your 'Students' to be sure that they don't play too much with your model.

Interesting but...do you always need the BIG BIM?

RE: New sketchucation HERE @LAST
The index page icons looks great - in my humble opinion.
Some of the other icons are quite 'busy' for me at the moment. -
New 'Special Interest' Group called BIM
Dear SketchUcation Management Board,
Is it possible to add another 'Special Interest' Group called BIM.
-
RE: New sketchucation HERE @LAST
I think it would be nice to use the newSU logo as icons.
SU discussion - SU Icon
SU LayOut discussion - LO Icon
SU Style Builder discussion - SB Icon
And possibly few more for other Groups (Developers, Gallery, Special Interest etc.)

RE: Adding Custom Aligned View to Standard Views
Hi Sonder
Reading your post again,@unknownuser said:
There are times when I want to see offset dimensions, especially when detailing in 3d
I understand that - 3D Osnap is useful in 3D View but,
I try to understand why do you need 3D Osnap in 2D View/Aligned View? -
RE: A brand new home for SketchUcation
What about the Chinese rank/badge system?

RE: A brand new home for SketchUcation
What about 'online status' next to post?

RE: Adding Custom Aligned View to Standard Views
It seems like the Bentley's 2D/3D Button would be good for all of us.
