    • RE: How do I fill this frame?

But I learn best when I have finished product in front of me to backtrack it. For instance when I was learning math in school I would take a math book and read the result of the math problem and then observe it for hours until i figured it out. I remember even the teacher told me "You can really figure anything out as long as you have an end-product to backtrack it."

I tried filling it up and some faces came out blue and some white but as you can see some remain empty no matter how much lines I draw across. Why is that? Of course I enlarged frame first.

I wish to make one oval face. It's actually a glass for a helmet. And yeah every segment is essential.

    • How do I fill this frame?

I drew this frame but don't know how to fill it because what I need is that surface which should be little bit oval. So how do It do it? Here are 2 pictures of how it looks like

    • RE: How to add lines on model?

Could you maybe tell me where to find this "'lines on surface" plugin? I looked for it on google sketchup page but could not find it.

    • How to add lines on model?

I've been drawing a model of some strange dog and I'm almost finished but I don't know how to add lines on his hands and legs

This is how it is supposed to look like

And see this is close up of a hand it is missing those three lines. How do I add them?

I tried with just pen but it doesn't work.

    • RE: Problmem with importing

Thanks, Gaieus, however I chose to import it again the way you said and like I said the straight walls are whiteout those lines but I also have one arc wall that is still full of lines (see photo)

      http://img7.imageshack.us/img7/5857/arcwall.jpg

Do you maybe know how to get rid of them?

    • Problmem with importing

I usually draw houses in AutoCad in 3D save them as .3ds file and then I import it in Sketchup. It works fine but it has one mayor drawback. On every surface straight or curved I get these lines that go over them and I don't know how to remove them, see on picture

      http://img99.imageshack.us/img99/6409/uglylines.jpg

Can someone give me an advice of how to remove this lines? I dont get that lines if I draw surfaces directly in SketchUp, just when I import them.
