It won't make any serious contribution to this thread. Trouble shooting to help NSA and DOD that was a theme always in our minds and you see that same from folks from the FAA during accident investigations. I do not think they think it is cheap approach and we all have a tendency to fall in that trap that can lead one astray. So it is best to not make statements like made here in.

This may help you finding plugins in newer (SU-2014 and 2015) versions: http://help.sketchup.com/en/article/38583 Thank you, Gerrit! This is what I've been searching for. There it is: SketchUp 2014: C:\Users\YOUR USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\SketchUp\SketchUp 2014\SketchUp\Plugins I don't know why it's there but at least I don't have to start the program in order to meddle with the Plugins folder. Now I can finally make a mess again with no much effort.

To widen this topic a bit. Does anyone knows some good and free collection of low-poly trees and bushes? I need it for some landscape/cityscape design. I have a model of the terrain with streets and several hundred buildings and some extra stuff...And all that makes a model of 800,000 entities. And then I import a tree from a warehouse and - puff - my whole complex model displaying a significant part of the town has 800,000 entities and one sole tree has a milion and half!

Gerrit said: "Plugins are a great way to level up SketchUp." They are. But I feel there is more sense in pressing the SU developers to better the bare SU body in terms of efficiency, functionality, stability and overall performance than sitting and expecting people to spend their own time in making great plugins. After all, it's their program. One more word about plugins. I remember that once (in one day precisely) I downloaded I huge bunch of free plugins. As Jean pointed very well, that's the situation when the SU interface does look like CATIA (if most of them are visible of course). But no matter how many plugins you have it seems to me that SU always starts much faster than those monster programs with million functions and several GB in size. After trying them I deleted the most since I realized there are some that repeat some functions of other plugins and some other perform the same function with more reliability and speed. At the moment there are, I think, several plugins with 'make roof' function. Over the same base (face) some of them need one second to produce a desired roof and some of them ask several seconds for the same action and result. I guess it all has to do with the algorithm applied. And you were totally right when you mentioned knowledge needed for this kind of work. And bright mind, I'd add. It was a pleasure having you here again, Gerrit. Come around any time.

Is it legal in all your countries? in the u.s it is.. you just can't call it gambling.. call it casinos, bingo, lottery, etc instead... @unknownuser said: I didn't intend to be involved in criminal activities when I started this topic. sure, i can see that.. but your intent was what exactly? . Modest as I am, I hoped to see some guy from the SU team dropping by with a big smile: "We have pleasure in announcing that next SU version is going to be released on May the 16th 2015..." 2013, sorry. This gambler's addiction is taking more and more of my mind. I think I must go dawn to the bet shop. There's a bunch of good matches this week but the odds are rather odd. Beer for you, Jeff. And for the SU team: Give us Chris Fullmer back, or give us something in return!
