Update:
Another 5h render.

Just a quick render of whole building. As You can see in background it is not finished. Lots of corrections need to be made but I hope it will take max one or maybe two weeks.

As usual modeling just in SU and maxwell render. And SU wire:

Thanks for comments!
I'm still thinking how to place that log texture. This is the same texture I have used on second floor. But the problem is that texture tiling on round surfaces
I have learned maxwell from users manual
It is not so hard to learn as it looks.
Well now you need to place complex tree in skp format directly in your project. I thin pavol is working on stuf which allows us to add mxm file as proxy not putting complex tree in main model. With this we can simply use very realistic trees like evermotion trees.
Evermotion stuff is great but it needs to be adjusted for maxwell.
Long story short:
Evermotion max model exported (not allways correctly) to mxm then everything setup in maxwell studio.
cadmunkey thanks for comment. Yes maxwell is still very very slow but everyone is hoping on version 2 which is comming soon.
First image has SL ~ 12 and still noisy, second I have stopped @ SL ~8.
Car and trees are evermotion, but they ar made for vray and i needed to adjust all materials for maxwell.
Brodie, how about that lines on roads? Is this textured in SU?
Windows 7 is much better than Windows Vista. Actually win7 is the same winvista but working normally.
Hi! This is SU + Maxwell work. Only problem I have with this render is log textures. I will somehow figure out how to fix that stupid tiling problem.
Any way comments are welcome.
PS. There is no photoshop used yet.

Sketchup:

Wow, Brodie! This is more better than first attempts
Richard.
Pavol is working on this problem. He said that probably next plugin update can add external proxies even mxm files. So if he can do such update then there is no more need for taking huge geometry trees in sketchup.
This is my onyx trees in some project. All are 3D.

It takes a lot of time to adjust trees for SU. Average size of tree ~ 10 - 20 Mb.
