Glad to be of help..I use it for all systems, Vue, Bryce Poser Sketchup..Really makes a diff..
If you use any type of textures, you need this free program...
Thanks for your help...That was it..Now looks good upon import.
Mike> Sorry, I haven't tried it..I use another program and I have way too many trees and plants..I just knew that the folks here might be able to use it..Ok, ok..I'll come up with an avatar...
Found this nice little program today. It is a FREE Tree and Plant Modeler (kinda like the FROG). All items are exported in obj format and UV Mapped...This is a new program...Take a look..
When I export a model to 3DS it also exports all the drawing lines as a second model inside the first...How can I avoid this? Right now I have to take it into Bryce, ungroup it and work my way through deleting the unwanted lines...
Thank You
Here is a link for a tut on making realistic crowds in Photoshop...
I took this into Bryce and then I could really see the nice work you have done..Thank You
Go to that link and down load Daz Studio (for free) then go to Daz3d.com and get some of the free people there..You then can pose them anyway you want...Then you can either use them or nake a bmp mat of them and use that...Thing is you can make all you want from now on for free..Any question just ask..
Anybody have a way to put ridges on the edge of a coin...?I know you can select an edge and then right click to "divide" but that doesn't show the lines that you could extrude..
Thank you

TIG,
See attached.

If you have time could you please modify your TubeAlongPath.rb Script
(So its as slick as your PipeAlongPath.rb)
Alternatively could you please create a new DuctAlongPath.rb = PipeAlongPath.rb for Square / Rectangular Sections
ie a Script that Creates Square Ducts (Tubes) along Centre Lines
...
Limitations and Workarounds with Current Methods / Scripts Explained in attached *.skp
...
It would be great to have this feature on a R mouse click also.
...
Anything you can do would be hugely appreciated

Howard Leslie
You need the first one in this series - ExtrudeAlongPath.rb - it extrudes a rectangular face along a preselected path. You can input its height and width [so a square duct is easy] and its alignment - either along the edge(s), centred on base, centred on the side or along centroid [the one you want]. With edges alignment etc you can also choose right/left alignment. You can also determine which end of the path the extrusion starts from, since 3D paths can produce different extrusions depending where the follow-me path starts...
It should be downloadable from the same sources as PipeAlongPath.rb etc...
Thanks Tom> These old homes are pretty nice in pics..You could make a subdivision and call it "Tom's Gardens"
Very nice..But Im not going to read it...
Is there a ruby (or could be) like the tube along path, that would do the same thing but make just a flat board like...This would allow us to make patterns that we could then use to make things such as jewlery itms and such...Thank you..
What a great Christmas present..Thanks again for your work D,,,
Jean and everbody else..Thanks for your time and work..Lots of good info..
If I was still young enough to surf, I'd say..Dude!..Thank you!
