Export to 3ds without lines?

When I export a model to 3DS it also exports all the drawing lines as a second model inside the first...How can I avoid this? Right now I have to take it into Bryce, ungroup it and work my way through deleting the unwanted lines...

When exporting, check out the options and amke sure "export standalone edges" is NOT checked.
