What exacly are you trying to array? You can array within SU. use the move/copy tool, copy item however far you want and then type in *10 or however many times you want the copy and it will array it. I know you can do the same with the rotate tool in a similar way but I have not done that yet.

Yeah been doing that but gets routine when you have several copies to make. Looking for array similar to Auto-Cads array tool.

            Choose your item,
            choose rotate,
hit ctrl to toggle on copy,
choose the first point (the point you will rotate around),
choose the second point (probably somewhere on the item),
rotate the item (you can also type in a rotation angle at this point and hit enter) to the point you want it to be,
            click or hit enter,
and then type in "10x" (or however many you want),
            hit enter,
and it will array around the point you picked.

Alternatively, you can type in "/10" or whatever number and it will evenly fill the distance with that number of items, same with move/copy.

As well as the in-built tools for linear and polar arrays, using Ctrl-key + Move and Rotate respectively, followed by xNumber to multiply or /Number to divide; there are several Ruby Plugins - e.g. my Matrix+Proximity does 2D and 3D arrays, with the added possibility of randomized offsets, rotations, scaling etc. There are also others out there if you need them [e.g. Grow.rb]...
