Thanks a lot, it is just what I looking for. This tool can be updated? Sad it have no own button and can't select edges which will be extruded. Anyway this tool makes me happy=)

ExtudeEdgesByRailsdoes leave the original three picked curves still selected, but if you run the tool again they are deselected and you must re-pick the profile and the rail(s)...
Why the question ?
I think you are confusing my tool with Didier'sExtrudeLinetool, which now does what you asked, based on some code I clobbered together... -
The question is because this is the thread for Didier's tool, and it doesn't select the new edges created. At least not the one in this thread. Is there an update elsewhere?

funny. took me some time to read the title of this thread too...but indeed. for me it doesn't select the new edges either...

This got a bit side tracked with my tool...
