Different sessions seem to have different texture/mat behaviour but I am also noting a habit of bugsplat or plain crash of sketchup when panning through the scene.

Latest bugsplat (Rayscaper minimised, panning in the Sketchup view) has been identified as an issue with the Rayscaper plugin. I have requested the full report to pass on. I shall do that as soon as I have it.
