Thinking of our Majid today

There is definitely something in the water, I should possibly stick to beer perhaps? No, I know it has water in it but boiled at least.
There are some fungal brain infections that can produce similar results but wow, even then, the current situation is extreme.
Are there NO brakes on the conduct of people like these?
I suppose it seemed like I may be referring to the conspiracy theories that are abundant. I was not talking about that but am more thinking of the psychological mass trauma and geopolitics
-
Sorry if I missed your direction of thought. With the geopolitics of the current times, dicktaters are more prevalent.
trump is also distracting the eu and NATO from the Ukraine situation let alone others.
trump got in post partly due for his statement about "No more foreign intervention" Well, he has not stopped interfering in foreign events and seems to be ratchetting up his efforts. Does he see himself going down in history as a knight on a white charger?
-
I used to Hate trump very much, But after what I am seeing what is happening with the importation of people with beliefs that will never be compatible with western culture being let in en-mass including UK ireland and the Eu with the mayor's on New York and London being Muslim. Along with asymmetrical police action especially in the UK with asylum seekers in the UK being put up in 4 star hotels and being fed 3 meals a day whilst British veterans are homeless on the streets, makes me angry like nothing else. If it takes action like Trump then so be it. The western world is being systematically invaded
-
I have to agree re the uk and eu. eu law states asylum seekers MUST be returned to the first safe state they arrive at. In this case Greece and parts of Italy. Not properly assisted by the eu. IS the uk government inept and incompetent? Yes.
When I left the regular army in 1983 I wanted to go to university. Despite military bases overseas being sovereign soil and we still pay uk taxes I was told "You cannot go because you have not lived in this country long enough".
I am told by the nhs that I cannot have treatment unless I go private because "Veteran treatment should be paid for by the MoD".
I have no gp/family doctor because I got sick of being laughed at.
The honest truth is that I am waiting to die. What with the other crap life brings us all, I hope not too long now.I am not depressed, nor mentally ill. In the immortal words of Sheldon Cooper, "I've been tested". I also have a very active sense of humour which is handy because we ALL need to Giraffe, EVERY day or risk the alternative. I nice hotel room with soft/comfy wallpaper and stripy sunshine. Read that back and looked out of the window, this is the uk ffs. WHAT sunshine?????
Now, WHO do I have to pay to put some manure in the fuel of the dutch f1 driver, no names or pack drill?

I appreciate that you served your country. You deserve to be looked after for your service.

I got out of the US Army in 1968 and was lucky enough to us the GI Bill to help pay for me to go to college ai night.

I am lucky enough to have a team of doctors that I think are great people. Although I am in my 80βs, I think I am lucky that I can keep things pretty positivs.

Long may it remain that way. There are always 'things' that keep us rooted in reality and knowing there is always someone worse off.
I come here to 'meet' fantastic people and being invigorated in my hobby. The thing that keeps me going.
I am more grateful for all of you than I can say.
I have communicated my displeasure to the builders of the current pc and it will be going back. At some stage I will be AFK because the previous pc backup is now deceased.
Hopefully not without kit for long.
Keep on keeping on, only game in the Sol system.

I hope that when we do hear from Majid again he can tell us of the new Persian Government
-
Still nothing, sad that even now such extreme situations can be inuring us to suffering. I was hoping we would collectively be better by now.
Hopefully the only way is up.

I live in that part of Italy and I have to partly disagree.
Regardless the storytelling about that, by no means that's the main problem we have to face.
To be fair, we have 1 illegal immigrant for every 100 people, we have 15 people who are basically fascists for every 100 people, we have 36 functional illiterates for every 100 people, not to mention that we have 100 members of parliament with some kind of criminal record out of 600.
