Been fooling about off and on with this model for quite some time. Finally got to the point of running a render. Still rendering with trusty old Twilight and post pro in Affinity Photo.

I always liked Twilight's emission handling.

Agree with you on this. Always thought Twilight didn’t always get the respect it deserved due to its reasonable cost.

Would you be interested in rendering this model with Rayscaper (https://sketchucation.com/plugin/2677-rayscaper)?

I'm trying to build something that appeals to the Twilight userbase. And having your feedback on what works and what doesn't would be awesome.

edit: And of course, a superb render, well done!

It is a very sharp render, as usual.

I must admit to a little trepidation on opening the thread, due to the terminology. Where I come from a "Throne room" is a different fish. I might run off a simple render to demonstrate and a laugh or two.

@pixelcruncher , thanks for the compliment. Unfortunately I’m running on a very old Mac computer, hence the reason I still use Twilight. If I’m ever able to upgrade my computer I’d love to give Rayscaper a try.

@Mike-Amos , I definitely get the trepidation you might have felt. Your reference was still used on this side of the pond when I was younger. Don’t hear it used so much nowadays. 👍
