Show an image to AI get a 3D model in seconds -
Would be nice if AI tackled real world problems rather than disrupting markets that create employment.

@Rich-O-Brien Yes, are you familiar with " Guaranteed income" the whole world economy will have to change. So far history has shown to shift fairly slowly so adjustment can change fairly organically, this change is different it will happen like a tsunami. That in itself scares me, not to mention the social shock with perhaps unemployment being the norm I have just had an ilness and the scans and the biopsy images were sent to the US and AI prescribed the treatment in 15 seconds I am told

The problem as I see it is similar to that faced by the automotive industry when robots were first introduced.
ai is apparently going to save us time and increase productivity but, if there is no employment, who buys the ai services? Government to run the social security checks? Hopefully ai is just a pan full of Flash. No Flush is someone else right now.

I believe that quality will improve with time, but so far I am quite frightened by the egregious errors that AI sometimes returns. For example, recently I queried Google for the ohm value of a color-coded resistor I had. It returned a value that was wrong by a factor of 1000! The more we come to rely on AI for everything, the more likely it is that errors such as this will sneak through, with the potential to cause serious harm!

What interesting to think about is if LLMs are eventually training themselves on content produced by LLMs you expect so type of mutation to occur.
I like to pass renders I produce to AI for feedback. I actually did this on one of @L-i-am last week. It gives really solid feedback.
The whole 'here's a SketchUp model make it nice' stuff I don't use. For me that's the same as looking for praise on someone else's output. But asking AI to suggest camera locations, or sun positions as you ideate is great.

Hey Rich of course I would like to know which image and what the feedback was

@Mike-Amos Hi mike, apparently as I understand it AI and robots will be taxed by governments and those taxes will pay for the 'Living wage" complex hey? I believe this has already started in one or 2 Scandinavian countries.
