Mike when I start feeling that low when on a large project, I try to move on to a fresh segment of it, even just searching through new images and vids online can help boost your creativity and motivation, I only work on this project after hours, and I spend 8-9 hours a day at work on sketchup as well!
Nxtdave not as you might think! for the first few years I did not use any plugins, and even now I only use a few to make life quicker, but the outcome is still the same, nothing you see here needs plugins, I do spend more time on research than on modeling however since I need to have a basic understanding of every items function before modeling it.

You are the second one in the past week to enlighten me about the use of plugins. I obviously do not/have not spent enough time learning how to use the basic tools. I admire people who have skills like you guys.

Bridge wing console complete, think im going to give the cranes a revamp after finding some really good sources!

Cranes get a few more details, and ive implemented a few more of the classic maersk colours, mainly the Ivory, splitting the colour groups to work for 10 different liveries is going to be a challenge, especially with custom made textures like the watertight doors

Slow and steady progress, most of what you see here is done by hand using alpha brushes, trying to keep the weathering in check, easy to get carried away with it!

Containers are complete, I tried a absolute fully loaded setup, which looked somewhat unrealistic, so I followed a typical layout from reference images, each texture was rendered individually from a custom made container, which ended up being 93 renders! the containers will not be full pbr, it will only have diffuse and AO maps
Now that the exterior is complete, I am going to move on to the bridge
