A rather fine Corvette (1958) to test a hdri with.
For some reason the model had to be scalled at +10 to look right btt not too shabby.

I'd like to know if your environment texture is .jpeg or .hdr/exr
Your whites are very bright. Especially the tyre walls. It grabs alot of the attention.
Also the ground shadow is very crisp and directed whereas the tyre in the image has omni light soft shadows.
Try playing with the saturation levels a bit too
What a nice car though!

A beautiful car!
-
Very nice!
Well done!

Rather stupidly, I had the sun still turned on. The fdri and shadow catcher (Infinite plane) system can lead to some odd results.
-
A vast improvement.
-
Oh wow! What a difference!
I'd swear that's a photo.
-
very nice.. great job on the background/setting too.
-
Nice work Mike. Very much improved. Rich is a bit of an eagle eye when it comes to evaluating a render
-
Ta mate, 'tis a hdri (jpeg version) of the working hdri linked to the twilight infinite plane.
Switching off the sun works wonders when I remember to do so.........
-
Wow, actually something with wheels!! All too rare here. Very nicely done, I hate that I cannot render.

Thanks Steve, inspired as always, by the models you posted here.
I have an Jaguar XKSS in the works that is going a bit slower than I'd hoped but getting there.
