G'day folks,
Probably a long termer. Much detail that changes with the car you look at. Far too many changes to list here.
As far as the wire guards on the inlet trumpets go, the extent of mapping I have is overwhelmed and geometry is not working at the moment.
-
I have to ask, is this a photo you are using for reference or you model? If it is your model, I am blown away!
-
I want to see more
-
Thanks folks, it's a model, no more than ten percent on.
-
That's the model? I also thought it was photo reference.
This is going to be good!
-
Thanks, I hope so. Like you I get memory issues slowing stuff down.
-
That looks really exiting Mike, what renderer are you using?
-
Thanks mate, Twilight V2 Pro. Slow process.
-
Hi Mike
You may already have some texture but here are some PBR textures, https://www.sketchuptextureclub.com/textures/search-textures?n=S&m=S
I usualy find if the texture are applied in the render engine and not in SU it maps correctly -
Ta mate.

Don't keep us hanging! This was one of my favorite cars! Really looking forward to progress updates!
-
I finally found a decent rev counter (Smith's instruments 12,000rpm) so hopefully I can move on with the dashboard/instruments. Engine details have been tough to find with depictions stated to be for 1967 actually referencing a 1973 engine which is wrong for this car. The 1973 car has the low mounted 'Wings'..

Well, trying to clean up inside the jam jar, annoying. Starting to run into some serious glitches which I will have to work at to clear.
-
Progress is a good thing
-
Better and better. Nice!
-
Lovely work Mike

Thanks folks, getting closer to the correct geometry for the centre cab. I guess number 20 is the charm.
