Looking good. Shouldn't the lamp stand have some type of caustics? Unless its plastic.

I'd dial the bump on the duvet down a bit and add some fresnel to up the fabric-y feel

Hard to comment much on such a β€œtight β€œ view. I think I’d rotate the carpet 90 degrees. Curious about the wood texture you used. Also how the lights in the lamps are set up…. πŸ‘

Somehow I lost the entire model, something that happens sometimes. Rebuilt, still a way to go Might be better in WIP I suppose.

Thanks mate, I almost know what I didn't do before I did it and then did something else.

                I know, it's late.

Hi Mike, I strongly suggest that you work from a reference image and try to recreate the lighting etc, or at least a mood board.
It is fairly unusual for the same person to do the interior design, interior architecture lighting design, furnishings and accessories and 3D modeller and render artist.
A good exercise is to recreate an existing image of, for instance, a kitchen or bedroom etc It is not cheating it is learning to be infuenced by an existing image that appeals to you.

                          ?

The render looks really good. Just needs some pictures or art on the wall.

Thanks folks, a bit more than pictures. Some texture and finish changes but I think I am done.

                            Final, imho.

Nice!!! Somehow the pictures help with the scale.

Ta mate, I like the warmth of the first image. I still have a lot to get to grips with setting a decent scene.

That is a perfectly normal bedroom right there that could be anywhere in the world in an average person's house and it looks like a photo.

                                    Well done! πŸ‘ πŸ‘
