Thank you Rich. Much appreciated.
To be frank, trying to find a texture that worked at this scale was a REAL issue. What I settled with was a compromise but, better than other options I tried. Do you have a suggestion for something that is much larger in scale for any future, similar circumstances?

Maybe adding noise and variation in an image editor via material ID channel or similar.
It's a tough one to address in post because it involves lots of messing about.
Blender's Compositor would be ideal for this type of job because it can use metadata from the render to help you add variation.
