Once again, great/excellent work.
You are making me sound like a broken record and feel like like an artistic dunce!
No, thank you for all of your encouragement man, I really do appreciate it! I've had days of nothing to do but sketchup ever since COVID locked everything down, so I figured why not level up on the modeling skills
I can upload a link to the model and you can play around with it? I'm not sure if you have Thea Render but I can include the materials/lights as well if you'd like.

I have, at least for now, lost my sponsor so I am pretty much completely retired now and have lost some of my incentive.
I am kind of relearning JavaScript and trying to help my son learn it so he can build a new career.Yes, please share you model so I can learn more/improve. All of met modeling to date has been car wash equipment but not as fulle detailed as your models. I have Twilight Render Pro 2 but I think there are a lot of similarities. I fo not have any plugins like SubD so I have to do everything from scratch.

Oh I hear ya! I just turned 21, and finishing up a CAD degree with a pretty dismal outlook on employment with cases exploding across the US. What a weird time to be living through.
Anyways, I'm happy to share the model! Let me know if there's anything specific you'd like help with and I'd be more than happy to help where I can! I'll post a link tonight.

It might have turned into a futuristic grenade Have fun playing around with it tho!

sehr sehr gut (=so great )
-
Pukka piece as we say in South London. Great job.
-
Great detail modeling

Avi, I have downloaded the model and it is very interesting to go through the outliner and look at the individual components and groups. It appears that you have used primarily native SketchUp tools but with a lot of time and effort. Maybe starting to get some ideas of my own but do not expect to see anything from me in the "near" future.
I am also going to look at using Twilight Render to render the model. If/when I get something I think is good, I will share it (might be a while though ).
Again, thanks for sharing.

Excellent work!

Thank you sir and thanks for sharing your model to "play/learn" with. I
I have been trying some more settings in Twilight Render but have had some problems in getting it the way I want it. So this is turning into an opportunity to learn. I have already learned some new tricks there even though for this particular model, I have not yet gotten what I want. I will share again once I get where I really want to go (not drastically differ from my previous post). My goal is to get where I have complete ( ) control to be able to control the environment!
Again, thanks for sharing the model for me to practice/learn with.

A highly detailed model and some nice renders!
-
Couldn't resist posting my latest attempt to render Avi's model. This one is MUCH closer to what I was trying to achieve.
-
Scaled up that would make a great warp reactor for space travel.
