One of the things I have always wondered is whether its possible to do an unsymetrical corner?
By this, I mean longer on one axis, than another..
Your picture didn't upload.
Like this?
<!-- ia1 -->Screenshot - 2_11_2021 , 4_40_29 PM.png<!-- ia1 -->[/attachment:20mh5rlz]Yes. It's possible.
<!-- ia0 -->Screenshot - 2_11_2021 , 4_39_09 PM.png<!-- ia0 -->[/attachment:20mh5rlz]Yes.. EXACTLY that.. How? I have pressed every button I can find, and its always symetrical (i.e the Offset is the same on both axis..

Start the tool and set the initial offset and then click on the green lines that need to get a different offset. Then type that offset. It'll show in the Measurements window.
Go to the first post of this thread and watch the videos.

I am such a d***.. I got to this point many times.. And when I clicked on the green line it says "Select other Offset Lines or enter a new offset in the VCB"... And I expected a popup to come up, like it does when you set the "normal" offset.
I didn't realise that you just have to type.
Makes perfect sense now.. Never even thought to try that before now...
Thanks!

I am from Russia, I do not always understand complicated instructions in English. Explain with simple sentences: "come here, click here .." HOW TO BUY A PLUG-IN LICENSE FOR 3 COMPUTERS
I do not need a premium plan for this site "sketchucation.com"
I just want to buy a license plagin fredocorner for $ 22please duplicate the answer to my mail: tysha1231@yandex.ru
I will translate your answers on google translator

In the main post about Sketchucation License, there is a link to a PDF explaining the whole process (in English).
If you have been able to post here in this forum, it means you are already registered on Sketchucation (and I assume you know how to do it, so you can explain it in Russian).
For the license of FredoCorner,
1 - In Sketchup just go to menu Tools > Fredo6 Collection > FredoCorner > License...
2 - In the Licensing dialog box, click on the 'Obtain License Button'.
3 - You are redirected to Sketchucation.com to purchase the license
4 - Once done, you receive an email with the purchased license file attached. Save it on your computer in a safe place.
5 - To activate the license, go to the same licensing dialog and click on 'Validate License'
6 - Browse and select the purchased license file which was sent to you by email.
7 - This is done.

re: seat limit and licenses
God day, I am The LEGO companies Sketchup admin and wonder would like to include the latest Fredocorner release to our plugin collection.
The company scripts a SU package with plugins included, Sketchucation should not be part of the basic package as most users won't use the Sketchucation plugins and it adds a level of complexity. Some users might use FredoCorner, most not. (maybe 5 -15 users)
I wonder how to best approach the licensing issue as it will be hard administer individual seats / usage. Would that mean I need to install the SUcation plugin and seat license for the users that actually need Fredo corner? I'm also worried about budget for individual seats run up compared to the SU budget. They might ask me to find an alternative if the setup is too complex/time consuming.
Will there be something like a studio license so I can avoid individual seats or floating licenses?
Feel free to PM me, looking forward to hearing from you

I have tried uninstalling , restarting , downloading again but of course it remembers the trial version had expired...all I get is this when I click on 'manage license'.Any help greatly appreciated.

Could you reinstall the Sketchucation Tools v4.0.0.e.
There must be something wrong in its current installation (most likely out of date).
Please advise if it does not solve the problem.
-
Fixed, thankyou Fredo.
I will buy the license now!Regards

I am getting Ruby error when I try to round corners.
Can you review the files attached and tell me if it is possible?
The JPG shows the parameters that I need
-
The errors comes from the rounding of the upper part and the large offset.
Currently FredoCorner does not round edges when one of the edge has a length smaller than the offset.
So, it works with an offset of 2'', but not beyond.
I am planning to evolve the algorithm to overcome this limitation, but this is quite complex. So, not for an immediate release...
Fredo
PS: RoundCorner does not do a better job

Thanks for your quick response and all your great plugins -
I am getting a Ruby console error when I try to round these corners. Can you tell me what is wrong?
-Never mind. I found a way around it.

Since I purchased the license I keep getting Ruby code errors. I have not managed to use the plugin successfully. Here is an example of the errors I get:

Depending on the model, FredoCorner may get into error.
So the best would be to PM me or post the model so that I have a look.
Fredo
PS: This has nothing to do with the license. The error is in the algorithm.

Like many people around the world, I was surprised that Fredo plugins went from free to paid. This is absurd!
Having plugins that have been free for decades and that are quietly going from free to paid, I don't know what quality could I give to this maneuver ...
Yesterday evening I saw, in an instant, the error message indicating "trial version finished", I thought it was April Fool's Day a little too fresh, but not when I got to the download page that it was not my astonishment when I saw that it was paying, whereas it was free just before. it's a very, very stupid operating system!
I have absolutely nothing against people who are looking for a return on investment. But the way to do it is not possible!
Inform people, take opinions, etc.
Especially that, 15 days ago when I updated I did not see that it was paid, since it is not displayed on the list of the plug-in store.Another thing, buying it will not be a problem for me, if I have to I would buy it. But not individually, at 22 ⏠/ plug-in it's very, if not too expensive.
Make a pack of all plugins, or in this case lower the price from 10 to ~ 12 ⏠/ plug-in22 ⏠x (number of plugins) = too expensive.
Sketchup is starting to take the path of software that is losing value, already that the license is very expensive, if even the plug-ins are not affordable, Sketchup is losing more and more credibility, and that I have read on hundreds of forums around the world about the Fredo plug-in which switched to the Pay systemDo not forget, behind there is Blender much more efficient, Open Source, with a more family interface that allows you to learn faster than before. At this speed it's soon the end of Sketchup
