      Hi all,

Which graphics card would you recommend for Vray for SU?

      I have sketchup 2014 and vray 3.4.

      Many thanks!

I assume you plan on using GPU rendering in V-Ray and understand it has a couple of limitations at the moment. I would suggest getting a 1080ti or more than one if you can afford it and your workstation allows it. The prices have come down a little as there was a little bit of pricing bubble for a while due to cryptocurrency farming.

This will set you up nicely for VRay, VRay Next as well as any VR technology you might dabble with in the future such as VRay for Unreal, etc.

According to some rumors on the web, Nvidia will release a new 1180 card this summer. If you can wait a bit - I would expect a small price drop for the 10-series at that point as well.
