Once again I have been blessed to work on another high profile building in the Huntsville area. Here are some model design shots matching photos of the actual project.
All native SketchUp with some Form Fonts models added in, mostly the people.

More info on the project here:

Great project and modeling πŸ‘ . It's great to see a large project using SU as the main modeling tool rather than just a placeholder for imported models. Top draw stuff.

                  Thanks Charles and John.

I have been able to do this with a few projects here and we are in the middle of another large one as well.

Great job on the model! Quick question about the photos. Did you get photos that matched your previous model views, or did you go back and take views to match the photos of the project? I'm guessing the latter, but it would be cool if the SU model informed the architectural photography.

Thanks Andy. The latter yes. There are some extreme FOV on the photos which are somewhat hard to match.

I did the same with this project too.

Lot of work, and so well executed πŸ‘ πŸ‘
Curious, why did they engage you to model what was (I assume) was alredy built?

You got that backwards. I work for the architects who designed and managed the project. The model images you see were done before construction began.

They really built that exactly as designed, huh? Great job Eric.

That makes sense, must have been a long time between the SU and seeing it come to fruition.

Yep. Started this about 3 years ago. Now we did tweak the acoustical panel layout and colors during construction, updating the SU model to show the owners but the rest of it was done pre construction.

                                      Thanks again all.
