The renders are great, but the model view is absolutelly brilliant!

I have some questions if you don't mind Rich.

I suppose you are showing the control mesh for what will be a subdivided shape. As the mesh get's compressed with subd, the fur would get out of place if you'd skatter it on the control mesh. Is that why some of it is looking sunk?

Did you skattered on a sudivided mesh and then remoeved subdivisions to produce this control meshes image?

I just change the axis location of the fur strands to reset them where i need them.

This is the skatter on the cage.

In fact its 2 skatters. One for the fur and the second to skatter the fruitlets to make the raspberry.

I skatter the fruitlets onto a cylindrical form using the vertices as the skatter insertion.

Shame Thea instancing tools don't have same controls as skatter. I couldn't find where you control particle size in Thea.

Very clever and a very nice example of skatter use... (as well as SU, SubD and I'd say Thea too...).

I should also say that even if we've ended up discussing technicalities, the result is striking and beautiful,

            Thanks Rich!

Here raspberries grow at the sides of country lanes so the dust is natural.

At least that's my excuse. You should see our bananas!

You should feed them real raspberries... might make them merrier than virtual ones.

You do not post many renders Rich but when you do they rock, this one is a bit beyond. Brilliant.

I think the kids are making a subliminal message to the profession known as politicians and what they should be doing to make the public happy.
