I bought a new computer and installed sketchup 2016 on it. When I go to add my license, it says "Oops...

That didn't look like valid licensing info...
check your license info and try entering it again?

(hint: copy & paste works best)

      Any ideas?

Assuming you have an email containing all of your licensing details...
Rather than manually entering the individual details when prompted to enter them in the license dialog, you can pick the Advanced Options, and then copy+paste everything into the one pane...

Can you get to the e-mail on another computer? If so, copy the license info from the e-mail and paste it into a TXT file. Then put that TXT file on a USB stick so you can transfer it to the new machine.
