Greta model HornOxx. Curious how you got his fuzzy green texture ?
-
Thanks Tuna. This felt-like texture is a native SkUp color, which gets some bump within Shaderlight render only - it happens to fit very well here and has nothing to do with the fact that I would have done it myself so sorry that I don't have any smart tip here.

Cool!
A little more red in the face, a black turtleneck sweater and some wireframe models in the background and he looks like a normal architect to me.... -
thanks Andrew - much appreciated

Horn Oxx,
This is so fun and very cool modeling. Bravo. -
I'm trying to model an oyster, so here's my first attempt.
- Quad modeling
- Subdivided model
-
It looks great!
Do I think it should be less flat on top?
What is your plan for texture? -

Yes, I agree. It should be a little more curvy. Once I get a nice modelling, I'm going to send it to WrapR and then to Substance Painter. -
Cool, hope it will be soon!
-
Next release of WrapR will support groups/components and ngons.
Not to derail this thread but it is something I'm excited we got sorted out.

Great news! Thanks for the info! -
Alsomar - this is a beautiful model idea especially the increase of 4 up to so many needed loops which is a good SubD modeling principle...

Thank you, it's a quick way to avoid a large number of quads in a narrow area.

I haven't seen the show but the Charlie Brown post got me thinking about doing some cartoony stuff...
