CFileException 5

%(#4080FF)[Hi there,
I wanted to save my SketchUp drawing but the information "CFileException" appeard on the screen and the saved file dind't update. Why ?] -
You running file off a USB stick or external drive?
-
CFileException 5 means "access denied", i.e. a permissions problem. As Rich notes, this is known to sometimes happen with USB or other external locations of a file.
-
I think can happen if your autosave file was externally and then you, for some reason, moved to local.
So the autosave continues to try and locate a path to 0.skb that it can no longer find.
-
%(#4080FF)[Its at the same location on hard drive all the time.
Can it be because I have that file in Google Drive ( cloud storage )Folder which updates every time I click SketchUp drawing to Save the changes ?] -
If it is on your google drive, that could be a problem. If the file is saved in the cloud, it isn't on your hard drive.

%(#4040FF)[It is on my hard drive and in the cloud. I had that problem becouse file was being updated when I was trying to save it. I turned up automatic update to cloud and the problem dissapeared

Thanx anyway =)]quote="Dave R"]If it is on your google drive, that could be a problem. If the file is saved in the cloud, it isn't on your hard drive.[/quote]
