[Plugin] Faster OBj Export
-
Export .obj? Give this a try and let me know how it works.
It's available through the PluginStore.

This exporter groups the .obj by material. Textures are not supported, but colors are. Groups/Instances are not considered. Works on selection, or entire model.

Update v1.1 with small tweaks hardly worth mentioning.
80,000 verts in 10 seconds is not terrible.
Here's a screenshot because who doesn't love screenshots, amiright? (Model)

on my mac Pro export, single sided took much longer than that...

What about the triangulation of faces into ZBrush, does easy possible to quadrangularize the file exported inside ZB or subdivide?
-
Mmm, looks good. Thanks!

To which folder shall i paste this plugin?
-
installed, but however nothing happens when i export. just goes back to the model.

Finally an exporter that works!
Would it be possible to add texture coordinate exporting? Then it would be perfect.
Thanks, peter

did you try Fluid OBJ Importer?
-
and does it export as well as import?
-
Ahhh. i read import.
you want export to obj with textures.
Then i would recommend ThomThom QuadFace tools. It has a great OBJ exporter with textures.
