You know if you are still doing those skateboard courses, you might be able to use some of this goop. All you would need is a multidirectional stretcher rig. πŸ’š
Of course, I don't really think you would need to use the stuff. It is clear that you always take the care necessary to do the job correctly in the first place.

yeah, there are times when being able to flex wood easier would be an advantage.. that said, the less goopy stuff on a job site, the better! πŸ˜‰

Don't feel bad Jeff, half the people I've shown this to also fell for it! He played it up real good in the vid. πŸ˜†

I remember when that first came out. He did do a great job on that.

well, i did pick up a good tip on the video which was shown after so being aprilFooled was worth it πŸ˜‰

that being-- how to chalk this line (red) on a piece of 4x8 by yourself.. this little dilemma comes up pretty often on site.

                  Hi, Jeff:
Considering the amount of use and abuse your structures experience, how often are you called out to do repairs? Do you use a special grade of plywood? I realize the skate truck wheels are soft, but all of that dynamic stress must be significant?

Pilou, a chalkline is a string in a box full of chalk--commonly blue-- that is used for snapping a line. If the line is hooked on the side of the board as in Jeff's drawing, it is difficult to keep the hook from sliding inless someone holds it or you put a nail in the edge of the board.

There is not an infinity number of possibilities ? 😲
What is unity of 4x8 - meters ?
So take another piece of 4x8 as rule ?

That could work. Or you could tap a nail into the edge of the board maybe. It depends upon what you need to do.

The tip that Jeff is referring to is to simply make a knife cut in the edge of the board to trap the string and hold it in place on the angle.
