I quit my job last month at the architectural office I worked at. after nearly six year. No more making architectural models for me. Probably less SketchUp modeling as well. ..........
Man, I just discovered this post. And, like Chris Fullmer, you managed to pull my leg. With your anouncement of quitting your job and ..... less SketchUp. For a momemt I felt bad about the news, only to then discover the great news in the rest of the post. Itยดs a superb move by Trimble to get you on board. Congratulations to you and the SketchUp team.
(I can picture some other skilled plugin writers working for Trimble/SketchUp in the future) -
Heartfelt congrats, TT_SU!!!!

I am very happy for you.
And i am even more happy for all of us, because trimble started hiring people from the field.
An what else that this should make it better.congrats.

thomas,
I am really happy for you but also for us.
your hiring is one more sign that Trimble means well for Sketchup. in a short period of time they have given us more indications that Sketchup has a future than Google in years.
but also congratulations on getting rid of the grinding routine of a large architectural office. I am doubtful that anyone save the bosses can be happy in that atmosphere.
best regards.

Congrats, great move for everyone!!!

Wow , fantastic news Thomthom .
Good for you, good for sketchup and good for us users.
Win win win! I would say !I am excited that Trimble hired you , especially because you use Vray .
This tells me that Trimble wants a smoother connection with the big plugins, that's great.I quit my job a couple of months ago too....to take up a new 'job' as being a father .
It has been a joy so far and I feel I am ready now to step into the job market again.
Very exciting times... -
