The Duh! Book - Coming Soon
-
Looking forward to this book. How soon will it be available?
Now this will be an actual, physical book, right? Or just something you download?
Love the cover, who did the Einstein caricature?

Next month as a download.
The Einstein image I grabbed online. Waiting on the artist to confirm usage. It may change.

Awesome!

p.s. - any chance you can refer to my nick as either "thomthom" or "ThomThom" in that print? "Thomthom" just makes my OCD itch...

For anyone not familiar with the 'DUH' word, here is an explanation from http://whatis.techtarget.com/definition/duh
Definition
duhPart of the Computing fundamentals glossary:
In general, duh (pronounced DUH , prolonging the UH , pitching the voice a bit low, and inflecting it with an intonation of imbecility or sarcasm or both, depending on the usage) is a colloquial comment on one's (or someone else's) lack of knowledge or brain power. In the Homer Simpson cartoon, duh is spelled "d'oh."
Here are some usages:
-
It can be used as an epithet when confounded by new technology. For example, someone unfamiliar with computers looking at a user interface for the first time, might say "Duh" out loud and to no one in particular. In this usage, duh expresses the state of being "totally clueless."
-
A common use of duh is to confess an error.
-
Another common use is to suggest to someone that you are telling them something obvious, but you're telling them anyway because you don't expect that they are all that bright.
-
It's also widely used in personal home pages as a kind of self-deprecating introduction. Many Geocities pages contain at least one duh.

Hey Rich,
Just came across this old post, and was wondering if this project ever came to fruition.

Guess not.
It's a shame, was a really good idea
-
It's done. But decided against releasing as I wanted to do it as a webpage also. Easier keep it up to date.
I'll release PDF in new year.

somehow this collection appears like an old, very lovely but most funny yearbook.
A great idea to exploit this great material which we have gathered together over the time.
Rich, I can hardly wait for it and thank you for having this idea at all!

This will be the best book ever!!!
Every SUpper should read this, great job! -
