Is anyone else having issues with the Eraser Tool?

Ever since I upgraded to SU 2013, when I'm using the erasure tool, the Escape key doesn't work anymore.

Has any one else noticed this?

ESC didn't exit the 'Erase Tool' in v8 either...
Press <spacebar> [or any other tool shortcut etc] to exit the Tool...

Perhaps he meant: pick the eraser tool-->select some edges by holding down left mouse button-->press esc to deselect without deleting?
Anyway I don't have SU2013 atm so I cannot test if it works.

If you activate the Eraser Tool and wipe over several edges while keeping the mouse-button pressed-down, then those edges will select - the selection increases with each highlighted edge - on releasing the mouse-button all selected edges will be erased.
You then have to use Undo to go back one step and un-erase them.

BUT if you were to press ESC while still holding down the mouse-button, then the previously selected edges will deselect, and therefore they do not erase when you release the mouse-button.

This works in v2103 the same way as it does in v8...
