      ... Yeah... what TIG said.

Happy to help, when I know what the problem is!

I have sandboxie running on my system, and the plugin will not load unless I disable the sandboxie service completely. With any element of sandboxie running [executable or service] it will give a "license validation failed due to sandbox detection" message. That may be your issue; that buildedge will not start if any sort of sandbox is present on your system

          @Tony

Please explain what 'sandboxie' is ?
I assume you do not mean the native Sandbox tools ?

Why do you need this mystery tool loading/running ?
          What does it do?
Presumably it is clashing with the license validation process...
          Why would it?

it has to be fully deactivated - service also, or buildedge plan will not run . these are the messages that pop up

                So now I understand... ☀
You have a program running that stops other programs changing things on your PC, accessing the Internet etc.
So when this tool tries to access the license data it fails and can't run!
That is how you currently have your system set up - it is doing what you have told it...
It is not an issue with SketchUp or BuildEdge - its with 'Sandboxie'.
                [stupid-name 😒 ]

This 'Sandboxie' has several known 'program clashes' listed in its FAQ pages...
Do you have any of those which might be exacerbating the issues here?
Perhaps you need to contact their support about this... 😕

I am surprised that 'Sandboxie' does not have a 'white-list' where you can 'exempt' certain processes from its seemingly very draconian regime???

I note that registered users of 'Sandboxie' seem to be able to run [a "forced"?] program to work not under the supervision of 'Sandboxie'. 😕
In that case try and 'exempt' SketchUp.exe etc... and see if that helps...
BUT perhaps its 'free version' lacks this most important of nuances...
If you are not registered, but want the 'protection' of a tool that seems to me to do more harm than good [!]... then it's your call... 😒

                  Hi Tony,
TIG has pretty much covered this. Sandboxie prevents our software from authorizing.

                  Sorry!

I have a registered “Sandboxie” (an authorised edition), and I have bought the "Buildedge Plan" too. When the Sandboxie is running, the Buildedge is really not working! That's a really terrible matter.

Read earlier posts in this thread.
This has been covered ad nauseam...
Sandboxie breaks this tool, and several other legit tools too.
It is not the fault of these innocent tools, it is a problem entirely created by Sandboxie - please take it up with them... and get it sorted that way !

                          Sorry!

I have reinstall win7 and reinstall sketchup and buildedge,
I have uninstall sandboxie and it can run well, but when I input my serial number, it reply "Activation not allowed"! Anyone can help me?

If you have removed the sandbox tool, the best bet is to uninstall and reinstall BuildEdge PLAN. If you need a hand with this, the best plan is to contact our Help Desk at http://www.buildedge.com/support

They will be able to walk you through the steps of reinstalling and get you back up and running.

                            Thanks!
