    • Hello, Installer issues

Hello, I hope someone can help me.

The trouble I am having is that I cannot update, uninstall or repair Sketchup (Or Google Earth).

I have looked online (and in these forums) for solutions and have tried them all. Some include:

      Making repairs to InstallShield
      Fixing registry troubles
      Installing/repairing in safe mode

To minimize the scope of this issue here is some things that I know.

ONLY Google products have this error. I can use installers from anywhere else and have no issue. I even can make my own installers and use them.

This effects all aspects of Sketchup. I have trouble (although I can work around) putting in plugins, or getting plugins to work.

This is not related to permissions. I have full access to the machine in question.

Installers I used to install function. I have used the same installer to install on another machine; there is no error there.

So what I have is, a computer where I have full access to everything except being able to uninstall/repair/update Google Sketchup or Google Earth. The two applications are not located in the same areas. They are not in the same files.

The only thing I can think of is that they share some .dll of library file that is out of reach.

If anyone has any suggestions I could really use them.

      Thank you
      Tony

I don't suppose these is a way you would let the public take a look at the tool at it stands?
