Im trying to download chris FULLMERs plugin component stringer.....but my computer cant read a ".rb" file type..... what do I do?

What do you mean with "my computer cant read a ".rb" file type"? If you want to read the text just open it, for example, with the notepad. If you want to use it in SU, just put it in the SU's Plugins folder.

Install? All you need to do is drop whatever you downloaded (If zipped, unzip first) into the Plugins folder in your Sketchup directory. Next time you fire up SU, it will be there. Make sure to read the plugins description, some are not simply displayed in the Plugins or Tools menu and have to be used with SUs Ruby Console.
