I wonder if it's an OpenGL setting issue. Go to the SketchUp menu (to the left of File) and choose Preferences>OpenGL and change the settings for Use Hardware Acceleration and/or Use Fast Feedback.

If you don't had full [read/write] permissions for the 'plugins' folder and all of its contents... then although you might have managed to wedge the files/folders in there and they appear to work at least initially, there are still some potential issues: e.g. Fredo's tools [and several others] need to write log/temp files into the 'plugins' folder, and/or make special subfolders for their own use... So if the permissions are at all restrictive you can get weirdness happening...
If you try the tool with the Ruby Console open what error messages [if any] do you get ?

          for the openGL setting :
          (checked) Use hardware acceleration
(not checked) Use maximum texture size
          (checked) Use fast feedback
Here i attached the rounded corner display on my sketch up & the folder.
          cheers

Did you check the permissions for the Plugins folder as both TIG and I suggested?
Make sure you have both read and write permissions.

Did you try changing the OpenGL settings? πŸ˜’

Navigate to the Plugins folder. Right click on it and choose Get Info. In the lower right corner click on the lock to unlock it and then change all of the permissions to Read and Write.

You seem to have some of the files/subfolder that Fredo's tools make, so it's unlikely to a be permissions issue...
You do have a very old version of LibFredo [37?]
The current one is 47 ! Get it here...

Hi, I am really sorry for such several days not appear since not see the next page ... sorry.
So still on the topic that my plugin (round corner) is not working.
Here is the steps I already did :

                        1. I download the libfred06 (the updated one)
                        2. I download the round corner
                        3. I delete my old sketch up & i install the new version (sketch up pro 😎 with "red box" icon - previous
                          icon is house & pencil
                        4. I install all the plugin : libred06 & round corner in my plugin folder
                          macintosh HD/library/application support/google sketchup8/ sketch up/plugins
                        5. I do the permission for my folder to be "Read & Write" for all (system, admin & everyone)
                        6. I did the OpenGL : Use hardware acceleration (checked)
                          Use maximum texture size (unchecked)
                          Use fast feedback (checked)
                        7. I do the round corner with ruby console open (no pop up appear) -- still the same
that the program is "hang" - so I force quite my sketch up program

I don't know what else to do 😞 .. in the mean time I really need this round corner soooo bad... 😞

                        please .. please please help....

If Sketchup becomes 'unresponsive' ["white-out"] it doesn't mean that it has 'hung'.
It can simply be processing a lot of data.
Left alone for a few minutes it might well complete the operation.

Try it on a very simple object to test it.
Make a square with 1m sides.
PushPull it into a cube that is 1m high.
                          Select just the cube's top face/edges [double-click].
                          Run the Round Corners tool.
In the controls set the radius to 100mm and the number of sides to 6.
OK to confirm, Enter ['tick] to commit [i.e. to process]...0.PNG1.PNG

This looks like a Graphics card, OpenGL, fast-feedback etc issue.
Try adjusting these settings one at a time in the Preferences dialog...
With the correct settings the cursor should return to 'normal'...

Double check your system's mouse settings - these might be wrong ?

                                          hi joe,

it seems you may have a corrupt .plist file.. it's possible that all of the uninstall/reinstalls may be the culprit (the sketchup plist files will not remove themselves upon a typical unistall..) you have to trash them manually.

                                          try this:

                                          --close sketchup
--click on finder in the dock
--click the 'go' menu at the top of the screen
                                          --hold down the option key
--a new menu item named 'library' will appear under the go menu (this is the user library-- click on it)
                                          --open the folder named 'preferences'
--find the file 'com.google.sketchuppro8' (or whatever version you're using)
-- trash the file then launch sketchup

edit- please note** trashing the .plist file then restarting sketchup will create a new .plist... however, all settings will be at default so it will appear as if you've launched sketchup for the first time (welcome screen, standard template, etc)

                                          dotdotdot
