Does anyone know how to change the default sides (segments) on circles and arches?

I know, that once I click on the arch icon I can type the # of segments that I want and it will maintain that setting until I close the model (or by using the entity info if the arch has been created already). What I want to do is have as a default 24 segments in my arches as soon as I open sketchup (instead of 12).

      Thanks!

I haven't checked because it's not an issue for me, but have you tried saving the setting with your preffered template?

          Short answer: you can't.

This isn't something you can change via a setting.

            It's hard coded.
This was discussed a while ago...
On a PC only... if you write a script that auto-loads and runs itself that includes some WScript calls to make key-strokes it can be done, but it's a cludge...
