is it not open in another window? Or in a location you are not supposed to save? (Like a downloaded file in a temporary folder)

Yep, using W7 Pro and it is on /Downloads folder. I downloaded a few models of tankers from 3DWH to clean up and use and one of the three has the locked icon on it... I have noticed it before and even noticed that some components I make have it but have only just wanted to know what the....?

In case they are naughty and misbehave (do not want to save for instance), you can always save as...

But how about when I save a component to hard drive? It happens then too...

If you right click the file is the a Share with... option?
