Here's a neat little trick I figured out today. It's a method for creating a more relaxed (evenly spaced) subdivision for a many-sided circular planes.

You will need QuadFaceTools (QFT in the gif) and SplitTools:

Now, if there was only a plugin that could automate that kind of subdivision with a few clicks .
