Please provide more detailed descriptions of what you have done with the files [e.g. where you've put them], what steps you do in Sketchup to get this problem, and the full text of any errors that appear on-screen or in the Ruby Console...
Then we'll be able to help you better... ๐Ÿ˜•

Plugins aren't SketchUp models. Why are you trying to open them as if they were? If the plugins have been extracted correctly into the Plugins folder, they will appear in one of the menus. Most show in the Plugins menu but not all do. Do you have a Plugins menu when you open SketchUp?

Did you try turning on the toolbar for Round Corners?

And did you tick the box for Round Corner in Preferences>Extensions?

Sounds like you have an installation error.

How about posting a screen shot of the Plugins directory?

Looks like your system is protecting you from yourself!
                          Are you an Admin?
                          If not then become one!
Some folder structures are protected by Window's security settings to prevent unexpected executable files getting put into them.
Your Plugins folder needs to have its permissions set to allow you 'all rights'...
If you don't have the right permissions then Vista [and I suspect its new sibling Win7] seem to let you think that the files have been put where you expected [i.e. ALL scripts and any subfolders of their required files etc go into the "C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Google SketchUp 8\Plugins" folder [on a 64bit system, or on a 32bit set up there's no ' (x86)' in the Program File's name]... BUT there secrete them away in a special folder for you to decide that you really wanted to do that!!!].
Sometimes MS [mis]treat users as if they are morons! ๐Ÿ˜’

Having a similar problem. I did manage to upgrade the plugins folder security, which actually let the plugins tab display, but still there isn't any option of opening the round corners toolbar.
It just displays the following message when i open sketchup:
                            Error Loading File ZLoader__RoundCorner.rb
no such file to load -- LibFredo6.rb

That's because you haven't installed the additional required 'LibFredo6', as explained on the tools download page!
Get it from the link, extract it and install, and restart...
